InspireConnect has been suspected of being insecure as we, as users, can not confirm the safety of our data, as no privacy policy is given, meaning server masters CAN access your InspireConnect VMs without your consent. We encourage not using InspireConnect until all security issues have been addressed and fixed.
(This has not been proven yet.)
In the meantime we recommend you using Shadez. Shadez is a french alternative to InspireConnect that has better privacy and better service.
// This is now the part of kevadesu.
The owner (alok) has been found deleting messages of Mizu on the official Inspire Discord Server.
Alok has sent a message in the server:
"mizu and andrew say : Un manque de politique de confidentialité qui implique donc que tu peux fouiller dans les VMs des gens sans leur consentement ? sauf que j'ai rien a foutre de faire ça c'est pas ma vie donc non je fait pas ça
La possibilité d'abus des outils VM ? avec 580mb tu va pas faire grand chose <3"
No. You can go translate that for yourself. I'm not doing it.
Alok has in the end kicked Mizu and the person defending Alok was called British Geek Guy.
"In Alok's defense, they don't have a lot of money to spare for a server, he can't pay £100 a month for 32GBs of RAM 2 Petabyte HDD, and a dual RTX 3060"
were the words of British Geek Guy.
British Geek Guy also made an announcement about the situation:
"@everyone
Good Morning/Evening/Afternoon,
Just a quick reassurance regarding the recent accusations.
We have nothing to hide. InspireConnect is in heavy maintenance and is secure.
Nobody was able to test it.
Thank You, Inspire Team"
